First, EMU was favored at home and Oakland was favored at home, suggesting the odds makers think two pretty equal teams. Don't think anyone expected EMU to be favored at the O-Rena.

What would have been the line at a neutral site? IDK.

These two teams are very EVEN. Lest you forgot, EMU beat OU in Ypsi.

This is pretty much what folks would have expected these two teams to split, winning at home.

Doesn't prove anything, other than maybe BOTH are very good mid-majors.

How can you say a split home and home series, both games close, proves A > B or B > A???

One could argue if these teams played 7 games, 3 each at home and one neutral site, the series would be 4 - 3 but I don't know which team would have the '4' and which would have the '3'.
