We win bowl games.

It's a cool image. Would be even cooler to have all 11 of em in one shot. There's five bowl wins and one CUSA championship there.

But you're right, it does show some pretty cool diversity.

The image (minus the 2017 New Mexico Bowl trophy we just won) originally represented the hardware that the 2015 Senior Graduating class won during their time at Marshall, so they had a very impressive run.

The problem in doing all 11 is that the Motor City Bowl/Pizza Bowl) trophies were all glass, so its hard to get a consistent image of them that look good - and we have like 4 of them.

And you know seeing them all laid out like that bothers me even more how the American posters treat us (Marshall, UAB, Southern Miss...the holdovers).

You know all they remember from Conference USA 2.0 were our down years.

The national championships, the dominance of the 90s, none of those teams really saw any of that. And then obviously the last four to five years they haven't really been a part of that either.

Which is why I understand why the Sunbelt guys are here. There's some programs in that conference like Appy State, Troy, Arkansas state that I know I've seen play good football. And here we are, with our 11th Bowl win, and a serious chance to make a huge run next year. I hope we can carry some of this momentum into 2018.

I think our TV contract is up. Unless I missed something. We have no deal moving forward with anyone. I know Stadium wants to be involved, but ESPN doesn’t need us, and CBS Sports doesn’t seem to want us. They would rather buy AAC games from ESPN and show us.

I would say we will be watching a lot of Facebook next year.

We had a few broadcasted this season on those networks; if we happen to get a few again, I hope it'll be our game.

But yeah, I agree, most of our games will most likely be broadcasted digitally on Stadium or another streaming site.

Fun fact on Marshall and bowls: Our first bowl was the year we joined 1-A/FBS. We had to play Ole Miss, who was not good but still an SEC team. We lost that game by three. Oh what could've been.

They only finished #22 in both polls, beat a Too 10 LSU team and their ranked arch rival to get this bowl slot, and had Duece McAllister as their running back on an 8-4 team.

Marshall has also played in 8 different bowls, 9 if you want to count the renaming of the Motor City Bowl to the Little Ceasars Bowl.
