Knew some thread police guy would have to jump in. Dude, don't read it if your don't want to.

If you don't find it interesting, and can't seem to grasp how a failing Vol football program helps the Tigers, then I can't help you.

You can't answer the question so you attack me. I care about the Memphis Tigers.

And yet you came back to the same thread after unilaterally deciding it shouldn't be on this forum. This time you even capitalized words.

Again, dude, no one is forcing you to read anything. Or comment, twice, on the thing you claim to have no interest in.

More attacks on the messenger because .....

As I stated, I have interests in the Memphis Tigers. I'm on MemphisTigers.org and was wondering why there are so many "Vols Suck" clownish threads.

Thread police guy won't give up. Thread is clearly titled "STR - Vols Lost Two 4-Star QBs . . ." What part of it confused you? If you don't want to read it, move on.

Let me guess, you were also the guy in grade school who reminded the teacher when she forgot to assign homework, right? And volunteered to clean the chalkboard erasers?

Now whine some more about these non-existent personal attacks. Hope you can somehow recover, snowflake.

Why do you use the MemphisTigers.org to discuss the Memphis Grizzlies and Tennessee Vols?

It helps me by providing one giant circus to laugh hysterically at throughout the fall.

Yeah, me too.

If Memphis ever got a Big12 invite I think we'd dominate the state.

Because it is interesting and we like to hear from Tiger fans' perspectives and personalities.

Sure, we can post on other school or sports forums, but the people there aren't commenting as Tiger fans and have different personalities than the people here.

Besides, the Vols and Grizzlies are very much Tiger related. We hate the Vols so we like to hear bad news about them. Tyreke, a former Tiger, plays for the Grizzlies.

If you don't like it, ignore it and move on.

No too long ago the Vols had the #5 class in the country - seems incredible since it was so unbelievably obvious that Butch couldn't coach a lick - but has now dropped to 46th. Only 10 total commits, and 5 de-commits since Pruitt was hired last week.

Recent Saturday Down South podcast was pretty vicious towards Phil Fulmer. Said his coup worked, undercut the coach search, got his AD fired, and then took the job. But that SEC opponents are laughing, because they don't think Fulmer is up to the AD job. And, worse, he torpedoed the imminent Mike Leach hire because he didn't want a high-powered coach to take over, who might take away some of the spotlight from Fulmer.

Also, SDS said no surprise that Fulmer hired a relative unknown - last 3 candidates were all defensive coordinators - because Fulmer intends to be very involved with the team, and no established coach would allow that.

Will be interesting to see how it plays out, and if Memphis and Norvell can continue to take advantage.

He is right this has nothing to do with the Tigers and there is another board for this to be posted. There is a reason we have NTR board. Why clutter the Tigers forum with NTR post when they have their own board.

Because for Tiger fans the only thing better than the Vols going 0-8 in conference this season and becoming a national laughingstock for their bungled coach search and AD firing would be for the Vols to go 0-8 again next year?

Question for you Nascar guy - why do you care? Thread is clearly titled, if you're not interested, just move on. Other Tiger fans are obviously interested in what is going on with our rivals.

How about our Freshman All-Amercan TJ Carter and Obinna Eze? Two 4 star commits from Nashville last February.

How about you go back to telling us how we are losing our football coach every 10 minutes? Or telling us how Hugh Freeze won't get fired?

we don't compete with Tennessee for recruits

And why exactly would anyone listen to you about anything?

cuz I just keep it real

Gotta respond LOL this time.

Real is way far away from the way you keep it.

Roflmao. You do have entertainment value.

Really? We signed Eze and Carter who both had Tennessee offers last year. We also had one of our QB commits (McBride) flip to Tennessee.

Do you just like to stir up trouble or are you really that dense?

are you sure they had offers?

Positive

The only way a thread about 2 Vol QB's decommiting is somewhat Tiger related is if there is a chance the Tigers might land one of the 2 QB's

Apparently that is not the case so this thread is only Vol related, and 'whoever might land one of these QB's' related

This is the wrong forum for this nonsense

It would be as appropriate in the Memphis Tigers forum as this one is

RE: STR - Vols Lost Two 4-Star QBs Commitments Yesterday
I know it happens, but not a great look for the Vols in Florida:

"Prep coach stunned as Tennessee refuses to honor QB’s scholarship offer"

"It’s Pruitt’s first time as a college head coach, and calling the 11 players who were committed to Tennessee at the time was almost certainly one of the first things on his to-do list. Sure enough, Pruitt called Penix last week to tell the quarterback he was honoring his commitment.

That changed Wednesday . . .Penix said that when he made the call, new offensive coordinator Ty Helton told him not to come on the official visit to Knoxville that had been planned months earlier."

Also interesting how ex-Vols coaches now at Indiana have swooped in:

"Former Vols offensive coordinator Mike DeBord and former UT graduate assistant coach Nick Stephens accompanied Indiana coach Tom Allen . . .

Earlier in the week, new Florida State coach Willie Taggart offered Penix a scholarship for the third time. When Taggart was coach at South Florida, he offered Penix for the first time. Taggart extended another offer last year at Oregon. Now, Taggart is in charge of the Seminoles, and he’s still sold on Penix.

On Wednesday night, current South Florida coach Charlie Strong made an in-home visit . . ."
