Did anyone hear about this?

Keaton Jones is a bullying victim. However, the only reason why we know this—why the whole world knows this—is because of a video uploaded by his mother, Kimberly Jones. Jones says that Keaton asked her to make a video after she picked him up from school last week; Keaton was leaving early because he was afraid of lunchtime bullies. In the video, which Jones subsequently uploaded to her Facebook, Keaton asked, “Why do they bully?” He continued, “What’s the point of it? Why do you find joy in taking innocent people and finding a way to be mean to them?” Sobbing, he insisted, “People that are different don’t need to be criticized about it. It’s not their fault.”

Mama Jones shared the video, along with a message to her Facebook friends: “Talk to your kids. I’ve even had friends of mine tell me [their] kids were only nice to him to get him to mess with people. We all know how it feels to want to belong, but only a select few know how it really feels not to belong anywhere.”

Yeah, he became a cause celebre, but now people are digging into his family's lives and social media posts and finding reasons to hate them.

You can bully kids whose parents don't share your views because they aren't really human seems to be the opinion that is forming.

Yes. They're more zealously committed to their ideological religion more than other's well-being.

You left out the part when the feral, SJW alt-left terrorized him and his family for several hours on twitter (well over 1 million hateful tweets), when they fell for a FAKE social media account that allegedly belonged to his mother.

I think it's unfortunate that some people attacked the family after seeing Confederate flags on their social media. The mother however has said that those pictures were a mistake and that she is sorry.

I think it's awesome however that many famous people came out in support of this kid.

So le me get this straight.... Leftists at first championed this kid as a bullying victim, only to start bullying him and his family after they found out they had a confederate flag?

The people were misinformed. It wasn't until the woman came out on TV that the record was set straight.

Now that it has been set straight however, the kid should get the money.

We had a moment where left and right and all races were together as Americans in standing up for somebody being oppressed.

Social media mob made sure it didn't last long.

But the reason was understandable. Before the woman spoke out, it did appear that she was trying to profit off of her son's problem.
