Dems sue NC b/c of judicial election revamp

The resident dems on this board told me primaries are not found in the constitution and thus the state of NY preventing new Bernie dems from voting was A OK

If so why is NC revamping their judicial elections and removing this primary unconstitutional?

I certainly didn't. I'm in favor of

1) Primary elections with crossover voting allowed
2) The option of party line voting
3) Partisan labels on all elected officials, if the candidate wants to identify as one.

I hate caucuses and closed primaries.
