Offense is still struggling, a lot of that is UC keeps getting so little from Cumberland and the non-Evans guards. That needs to improve. Clark was a force in almost every aspect of the game. A good effort overall, but they need Cumberland to give them much more to reach their potential. If he starts being a factor on offense again, you'll see UC start scoring better.
Mick said because of having new starting guards they're running some different things than you'd run with Troy and KJ. Said he knew it'd be a work in progress. But he did say that offensive efficiency was the thing that we needed to dramatically improve upon. I believe he even mentioned Kenpom.

They need to be a top 25-30 kenpom adj offensive team to be a real threat for a deep tournament run (final four threat). The Xavier game didn't hurt them at all in that regard... the last 2 games they've fallen from 28ish to 46. It's a bigger issue early in the season than I thought it would be. I suspect a lot of that is because I expected much more out of Cumberland (I thought the PG position would be a work in progress throughout the year).

I almost wonder if they should not try to mix it up and bring Cumberland off the bench for a game or two and see if it helps his rhythm. He seems a little out of sorts right now, and sometimes it helps to mix it up. He was more than capable last year in that role and maybe that would settle him down and jump start his offense.

Team looked okay last night. After we beat Ucla and go on a nice little run I predict we'll all hop back on the bandwagon.

Yup

i just posted he shouldnt be on scholarship. I was happy when we finally were rid of Shaq Thomas and Mick went out and got his clone.

At least Shaq was an above average defender. I just don't see anything that Scott provides right now. I thought I saw some.potential last year, but I'm not seeing it.

I hate being mean about the kid. I would love for him to come out and prove me wrong. I just dont understand what Mick thought he would bring to the table.

Same here. I just don't see any skills. And he's not a good defender at all.
