If anyone follows Shawun Lurry on Instagram he has confirmed that he did not quit on the team. He won’t be at the bowl game so he can have surgery on a broken bone in his wrist that he’s played with all season long. This will allow him to be ready for Pro- Day. Fine with me. He said don’t believe the lies. And that he loves his brothers/ senior class #Beatduke

You are telling me all that lil school girl gossip on here may have not been true? Noooooooo

I posted something similar in another thread. If he quits, he probably couldn't be part of pro day. Makes no sense but apparently some prefer gossip over sense. Hopefully he does get a shot in the NFL and brings more exposure to the program. I know I enjoyed watching him these last few years. Ohio state and Nebraska pics are some of the best plays I can remember.

Well this most certainly assures us that players/coaches view this board.

A lot of players commenting on his post saying they don’t listen to the outside fools....I wholeheartedly agree. And “fools” is putting it nicely.

Cool. I thought that was a very strange story from the beginning. Hope his surgery goes well.

So happy that he posted and showed the brotherhood and team pride that is so essential to having a successful program is alive and well.

I am happy that he is taking care of his body and I feel that he made a sound decision for his future.

I wonder what the "rest of the story" is with William Lee.

Can someone inform me what is going on with William Lee??

As I was told will lee was asked to practice full reps when most Srs are not hardly practicing this tome of year and he got mad and walked out and said screw this bowl ****. Now I am not saying he will or wont play but I will satnd by what I said several weeks ago

and possibly Jones depending on how things went for him this week

And I believe all of the guys I mentioned several weeks ago are proving to be out for sure. I am not happy about it but it is what it is
