Let’s see what our record is on February 1. This is the best this conference has been since the 2014 season.

Georgetown is 8-0 right now. They have the (literally) worst schedule in D1 and have played 7 teams with a kenpom rating of 300+ with only Richmond (#221) below 300.

If a Georgetown fan were to say, "man we might be 8-0 but we'll be lucky to finish .500 in the Big East", is that a bad fan or a realistic fan?

Negative on the negativity. I've seen us play. Which is not positive. The inverse of positive is negative(aka not very good). So if Louisville cannot beat a 'not very good' team, Louisville must be really bad.

But I hope we win because I really don't care if Louisville is good or bad.

I think it was only being used for comparison purposes vs. the Louisville score.

If Memphis could only beat Bryant by 18 when Bryant's leading scorer is out and Louisville beats a full-strength Bryant by 40...and so forth.

I’m not realistically holding out any hope for a win. We just do not have the talent that Louisville does. I will consider it a “win” if we hold the point margin to 15 points or less, which was the UAB margin. This will be a good barometer of our team against a fringe top 25 team.
