Last season with coach KB's best team, we lost at home to the Tribe of W&M. A team that we used to dominant. I would love to say that we will win tomorrow at the Kaplan The truth is, this is a pretty good team that is better than last year. I know some fans were talking about driving up to support the team. If you can, they could probably use it.

Pollard is a freshman from Princesse Anne High School who starts for the team. So Harper Birdsong (5'10" G) is from Nansemond-Suffolk high school.
This team shoots mostly from the floor. Their main three point shooter is Garner off the bench. But for the most part, they pretty much pound the ball inside. It starts with 6'4" Abbey Reynolds who is currently tied for first place in the nation in blocks per game. They like to pass the ball and like to try to steal on defense. It's a solid team with good fundamentals.

Yeah...the stats don't favor us. ODU needs to get off to a quick start for the team's confidence. To find there offense. I think that would help them.

For those that can't make the game, it might be viewed on Cox-Yurview in the Hampton Roads area. This game is part of a doubleheader. At 2pm the W&M men will play Milligan College. It's located in Elizabethton, Tennessee.

With our slow starts causing so many issue. I would love to see Coach Nikki open the game with a 3/4 Trap press. I know they won't be able to sustain it for more then about 4 minutes or so, but that could jump start our offense with a few turnovers and easy transition points, or at least take some time off the clock allowing W&M less time to run their offense.

We have played very well when trapping and pressing. Any thoughts ?

I too hope Munoz left for truely legitimate personal reasons because her departure puts the Monarchs in a deep hole. Not much depth and very little height. I was at the W&M game and it was obvious that the players tired as the game went along. Better days are ahead.
