Amazing season for Buffalo basketball
After yesterday's men's games and before tonight's women's games, Buffalo is having what I think is an unprecedented season measured by RPI. Late January, and UB women are #20 in RPI, men are #29. Occasionally in the past one program has had a top 30 RPI, but not often. Now UB is doing it in both men's and women's basketball.

And just think about how much better they'd be doing if the MAC refs weren't rigged against them!!!

I am more shocked that it is the end of January and we haven't got a game by game analysis of the files called against Buffalo. And sorry Buffalo fans, taking out my anger of one poster on all of you

I'm shocked too! We really need that Buffalo file analysis...

And if fans of a team complaining about fouls cause you to feel anger.... Well you might want to drop being a sports fan and take up ballet or something. Every fan base has a few of those fans, even Toledo.

I don't think anyone is truly angry, but one person in particular deserves mocking.

Toledo fans are still crying about a blown missed XP 6 years after it. Syracuse also got screwed out of a TD that game on a blown PI call.

Ohio Fans cried constantly after a terrible safety call in a game they lost 30-3.

I'm pretty sure it's you guys who need mocked.

Not all ref decisions are created equally - a missed extra point or safety in the same vein as your examples are pretty clear cut calls that a middle school crew should be able to make 99.9% of the time. Its a totally different animal to suggest a one-off is the same as a nuanced MAC conspiracy against UB.

And if I complain about a call it's usually because it's a very bad call or the game is completely one-sided.

You can't pick and choose which calls you're allowed to complain about and which ones you aren't. And going after someone for complaining about calls when you've been complaining for more than 6 years (funny they never bring up the PI in the endzone Toledo got away with) shows what a tool you are (referring to the person(s) complaining).

Just a tough pill to swallow for some and understandably so. You would be equally upset if the shoe were on the other foot and probably for just as long. Imagine if you lost to Clemson on that same call.

Be careful about throwing rocks in glass houses. We are the MAC and understand that we do not have a lot of national relevance but acting like Syracuse is anything more than a second-rate football squad with any relevance aside from an occasional upset is misconstrued.

You do realize a PI call is a judgement call, right? And there are thirty holding calls missed every game and five PI calls missed every game and a couple of each that are called that shouldn’t be. An extra point, with the benefit of replay, is a different animal altogether and you know this. No Toledo fans are whining about missed holds or other judgement calls. And it’s ONE game-from you it’s pretty much a litany of “Bulls got screwed” at times.

Please reference where I said anything, ever, about that safety call.

Oh darn. A typo on a paragraph of voice to text. You win today, as I have been bested. Congrats.
