The game isn’t till the 26th. He might be back. The only serious injury is Lurry. This will probably be he healthiest we’ve been all year. It will be a full month since our lost to Central Michigan.

Lee walked out of practice with an injury?

I really hope these holiday plans everyone has are really really good. What in the hell happens to NIU teams when the calendar strikes December. I never want to hear this "Hard Way" motto again.

I think I'm coming out of my betting retirement to take duke with this spread. This seems like a team that has quit or in process of quitting. We have seen this script before with Carey teams. Easy money

Just the circumstances randy described. The circumstances of players not wanting to go to Detroit and hearing lee quit on the team Why does this always happen to NIU late in the season

The players do not like bowl games at all. It’s another month of practice it’s around finals they don’t get to go home to family and friends like normal students if it isn’t for a great climate and cool bowl gifts they don’t want to be there. Sr. Don’t practice most guys go 50 % it’s not what you think at all. Mixt of them just want to be done sorry to crush your dream that the team is digging in to beat Duke and can’t wait fior one more game lol may have a few like that but most just want to be home !

But I just wanted to give you an honest look at how most of them are feeling before these games .

There appears to be at least one word missing in this sentence which can definitely change the meaning of the sentence.

I think there's some truth on both sides here. I imagine randy is right about this to a large degree but for whatever reason this NIU team takes it to the extreme. I get not being crazy about the game but damn, to put up this big of a bitchfest to play one more game is pretty sickening to me. William lee had great huskie career and really disappoints me that he basically walks out like that. There is a culture problem with this program , time for new leadership. I'm not renewing tickets next year , this thing has gotten out of control

Do you think that’s a college football thing across the board, where players rather be home than play bowl games if they’re not playing for a National Championship? That’s weird to me. Sounds like a leadership thing and players are spoiled. Players take on the personality of the coach . Good coaches inspire and bring the best out of their players.Them complaining versus being grateful is a red flag to me. Every game is an opportunity.

In the past, I've heard that bowl practices benefit the underclassman and non-starters the most.
