Hopefully Koch comes down for Phase 2

A new Koch embedded into the outside of a new and enclosed north stadium wall for the future would be forward thinking.

back of a new Koch Hall.

Anything new on the construction? I guess there is a lot of pile driving that is happening right now but anything other than that. I am really surprised that we do not have a single corporate sponsor who wants to see their name on the stadium and can throw some serious cash to do so.

Harry has announced in his new role for ODU that and update on the stadium will be coming soon. Great news!

Here is Coastal Carolinas website with preview of their new stadium. I have been begging for ODU to get something like this but we all know its a pointless effort.

Couldn't agree more but its probably because our new stadium will have none of those amnesties the CCU stadium does. Its likely a little embarrassing to Wood and the gang. No new loge seating, no new suites, no new club level. And what we do have is in the end zone and sold already. Their place looks like its going to be quite nice.

I agree that they are using that to preview the seating but hell we cant even get more than 2"x2" little photos of what our new stadium is going to look like.

I circled the stadium and those were the only interesting things happening. There is a construction fence blocking access to Rollins and Koch, but I'm not sure if I would've found much else. If anyone has any requests let me know, I live pretty close and could grab more pictures tomorrow.

How can you tell where to piles are gonna go? (I'm looking forward to the construction lesson along the way as we go through this. So excited!!!)

Here is where the piles are sticking up out of the ground - see the red circles. I assume these were not test piles as they look like they are ready to be built on.

Could be. I wonder why they wouldn't just mount the lights to the stadium itself? Either case, these are way back from the exterior of the current stadium. Footprint is about to get much bigger!
