That is exponentially better than what we have, and as many have said, the outside (erector set look) is less important right now.
The capacity is disappointing, but if it is expandable, then that is acceptable as well.
HOWEVER, the assertion in the Pilot article that the reason we have so many empty seats is mostly attributable to the old stadium is simplistic at best, and likely the least important of a few factors.
While I cannot quantify this empirically, I believe that our gameday apathy is more of a combination of the conference and with that opponents we have little in common with, a less than exciting brand of football of late, and, I hate to admit this, not enough to play for at the end of the day ( eg; FCS playoffs).
A new stadium won't fix all that.
With the meteoric increase of the gap between P5 and G5, there will, IMO, need to be a restructuring, like say a G5 playoff.
This almost complete G5/P5 dichotomy, btw, is coming to basketball as well, albeit just slower.
