Florida State’s roster is loaded with 4 and 5 star players. Their 2nd and 3rd string players would be all-conference guys for us. Yeah, BC beat them pretty good, but their talent level isn’t light years ahead of us like FSU’s is. It’d be a better matchup.

Same goes for Tenn and we would have beaten them if had started the right QB. Sure, TN sux much more than FSU, but we have played talented teams before.

Griggs has thrown 15 TDs to 2 Ints (prob the best TD/INT ratio in USM history) ran for 2 TDs and hasn't lost a game as a starter with the healthy / revamped offensive line. I'll give ourselves a chance with that. Will be interesting to see how we do.

If Griggs is in there.. I say we could possibly pull this one out.. say USM - 27 FSU -24

If Howard is in there (if the coach uses this game as an extra 'scrimmage')... it's gonna get ugly... FSU - 35 USM - 17 (maybe when Griggs has to be put in for how bad Howard plays)
