One of the worst in recent memory
Was the 2017 MACC game one of the worst title games in recent memory and not all that well played by both teams?03-phew

I also grew weary of announcer repeatedly referring to PA. hometown of Tony Dorsett and Woodside's journey to his well earned recognition.

Attendance seemed low compared to what some past games drew.

RE: One of the worst in recent memory
Attendance was unexpectedly low for teams situated roughly 1 and 3 hours away respectively.
Had Toledo beaten Ohio, this would have meant a possible top 20 ranking.
Toledo was clearly the best MAC team this year interms of overall record and is the well deserving MAC champion. Last time they went to Detroit was in 2004. Not sure how well NIU fans would handle a 7 year absence let alone a 13 year one?
Other than NIU, Toledo has arguably had the most consistent record in the MAC West.
Since 2004, they were mostly in the hunt for a A trip to Detroit and never lost hope over 13 years. Am really glad they avenged NIU's 2005 defeat. That one still hurts.
