If we rematch it will be in the SBC championship game, (which could be possible)
I believe both our programs have 6 Sun Belt Championships which are both the most in the league. Would be a fun one

Could be some turnover at the top of the East next season. The west...may as well just have Arkansas State penciled in.

I don't think our run is over yet. We have a lot of talent coming back next year.

Next year will be very interesting. The last of the Blakeney recruits are gone and there are only NB recruits remaining. Good luck to all the SBC teams bowling and to those teams that came up a little short this past season, get to work. We have a conference to elevate! #TogetherWeRise

RE: Congrats Troy
I had to watch the last few minutes of the game again on ESPN Replay this morning, and I think that I am finally at the acceptance stage. Congrats to Troy, who found a way to win even when it had seemed the tide had turned against you guys. That's what champions do...
Hopefully A-State will figure out how to score consistently once in the red zone, because 600+ yards but only between the 20s is crazy!

Seems to be your MO under Anderson. For whatever reason, a lot of spread teams struggle in the red zone. I think Troy has been helped out by trying to be a power run team at times with Chunn. He was 46 TDs I think in his career, almost all of them in the red zone. In 2013 we had a really physical guy named Eric Thomas that could beat any corner back on in the corner of the end zone. In 2014 we had a guy that was 6-5 that just, well, he was 6-5, lol. Hard to defend superior height.

Anderson has tried, but never really been successful at bringing in a big back.
But good god next year is the best chance we're going to have at an undefeated conference run to the title game. All 4 of our toughest league games (App, GSU, USA, ULM) are at home. Outside of ULL away, which is always a problem, the rest of our road games are GS, CCU, and Texas State. We miss Troy.
We return basically everyone offensively next year. Lose only our Tight End, one receiver, and our backup RB. Defense loses 4 or 5 starters, but at our deepest positions. OOC schedule outside of Bama is extremely favorable with UNLV at home and at Tulsa. This will be our best chance at really putting a good year up. And there will be pressure to do so.

I think you're underestimating your schedule. APP is always going to be tough, no matter where it's at and you can't assume it's not a tough matchup based on the 2015 game. GSU and Shawn Elliot, as well as ULM and Matt Viator could do what Troy did. This year may have been their warm up year. USA will have a new coach, but I suppose the revenge factor could be in play. ULL will also have a new coach. A lot of unknowns in those fives teams. CCU gets Moglia back and I bet they'll be 1000% improved. They had no experience coming into this season and they didn't have their head coach. If Lunsford is actually a good coach, watch out. A lot of teams you're going to have prepare for that you won't have a lot of film on. For that reason, I don't see anyone going undefeated. Someone is going to "get caught".
