Today FAU beat North Texas like a rented mule... for the second time. And yes it was embarrassing.

The Owls are certainly the best program in C-USA, and it isn't even close. I wish you guys the best of luck in the bowl season. You truly deserve the best C-USA bowl, and hopefully a shot at embarrassing a P5 program.

I hope we do, but morale may be an issue. Many are not happy with the prospects of a New Orleans Bowl appearance vs. a Sun Belt team. If that is our situation, turn out will certainly suffer.

FAU by far the premier team in our league this year.

Indeed, congratulations FAU! Was a fun game to watch. FAU is certainly electric on both sides of the ball and will go far in the future.

congratulations, indeed. fau looked incredible. I know unt was good enough to beat us into the ground. that was pretty inspiring.

FAU needs to be a top 25 team. They crushed C-USA. I think only Marshall stayed with them until the end. They boat raced everyone else I think. If Kiffin and his staff stays in tact, it will be even worse next season.

Western’s roster in the right hands would have given you guys a run for the money this year. But that takes nothing away from the wonderful season you had. I’m very happy for both FAU and FIU this year. I congratulated both of you when you made your hires when others were crying (and hating) like little *******.

I’ve also enjoyed Kiffin’s tweets this year and especially him roasting Tennessee of late. I hope you keep him at least one more year but if you don’t nobody takes away what you accomplished this year.

The last two years we were able to take out 2 of the AAC’s hottest teams. 2 years ago USF was rolling at the end of the season and we bitchslapped them. Last year Memphis was coming off a win over Houston and we bitchslapped them.

Whoever you get I’m pulling for you hard. Our conference has done pretty damn well the last couple years in bowls. I’m not so sure that’ll happen this year but will be pulling for everyone. I think we’ll get left out and I honestly think that’s for the best. I don’t see a team out there that’s bowl eligible that we could beat with our Kid Coach putting together a game plan.

I never thought UNT was legit this year. That’s not me hating. I like their teams. I just thought they were pyrite. You guys showed that both times when you played them. Not even close.

Congrats to the hard core FAU fans and congrats to Kiffin for sticking it to the haters.

I'm just disappointed that we couldn't get FAU on the road. However I am happy that it was a close game in doubt until the end... congratulations FAU

Out of all of the Conference Championship games I watched yesterday (all except the Big XII game)....The most impressive display on both sides of the ball, in my eyes, was Florida Atlantic. Congratulations are indeed in order, what an incredible show the Owls put on yesterday. Can't wait to see where all of our conference reps will be going in bowl games...I was wondering if any of you here that watched the C-USA title game on TV, who were the ESPN Announcers that worked it? I also found it odd that ESPN was televising the championship game, but to my knowledge, didn't show a single regular season contest.

Congrats FAU! I will be cheering for you in your bowl game.

I want to also thank FAU and FIU for being leaders and showing the conference that if they are going to take their team (Charlotte) seriously they will go out and hire former P5 coaches to lead their team.
