...and Rice is totally snubbed...

I can understand Teixeira gotting the nod at 3B, but Rendon not even coming in in the Top 5 of the voting? Seriously? Freshman of the Year (and amongst Top 3 in POY voting as Freshamn), then national POY as a soph, and all-american despite being injured his Junior season.

Lincecum and Miller ahead of Townsend and Humber? Wade was arguably the second best pitcher in the country two consecutive seasons (behind Neiman and Weaver).

I also don't understand how The OG finished behind Oregon State's Casey (and a more deserving Augie) with only 10% of the votes. Oregon State was a non-factor for the first half of the decade...and though Casey won one more national championship during the decade, Wayne had more CWS appearances, more national seeds, more super-regional appearances and more post-season appearances. His overall W-L record was #1 nationally for the decade, and OSU didn't even crack the Top 10 in that category.

I could understand Augie, and even UNC's Fox, but Casey? Really?

Wayne did only win 10% of the national championships that decade...

How many of those players are playing MLB today who were selected?

Aukley was the only MLB dud of the group. I think everybody else had a good to great MLB career.

I suspect that that is one of the reasons they were chosen. Humans are biased.

Lincecum had a great MLB career. Likely why he featured higher than Townsend and Humber.
