Toledo came out with a huge opening kickoff return and two plays later up 7-0 on the zips... Akron slowly moving now on Toledo... Still can't believe Akron snuck into this game... Ohio fans must be nauseous today...

Another big return for Toledo on Akron's punt... tack on 15yds for the personal foul late hit and Toledo starts at mid-field on their second drive... This could get out of hand quickly for Akron if Toledo scores again on this drive.

Ref's screwed up the penalties on the punt return and Toledo gives back a bunch of the punt return yardage... Akron defense starting to stand up.

How's the crowd?

MAC is its own worst enemy. They get a 7-7 game and wave it off on an illegal formation call that is totally subjective and could be called every other down. Huge turn of events, and the viewers are switching channels.

Once again, how the hell did we lose to Akron?

Meanwhile, the AAC championship game is the No Defense bowl.

Toledo fans have to be crazy to think Toledo won't take a huge step back after Woodside, Thompson, Swanson and 4 of 5 starting O-linemen graduate.

Not to mention 4 of 8 D-linemen and 3 of 6 linebackers.

Toledo and Akron are two of the most experienced teams in the MAC. That's why they are in this game. But Toledo clearly has more talent. The other most experienced team is CMU and we saw how they came on at the end of the season.

There's just no substitute for experience.

Toledo has been preparing for this for the last 3 years... WMU was the roadblock and with WMU taking a little step backwards it was perfect timing for this group. Much like WMU last season.

Akron looks AWFUL! How the heck they beat Ohio is beyond me. Could say the same thing about how they snuck out a W in kalamazoo in a game they were dominated in every stat...

That is correct.

Akron scored a bunch of garbage time points to make the score look more respectable.
