Hey Ericsig dude your boy is struggling. Tell me how great he is again.

CJP is great? Where have I ever said that? You won't find that once. Has he done better than Tubby has over the same period of time, Yes. Does he recruit at a higher level yes. Would he have a better team on the floor this year, yes. Did I say it was time for him to go? Yes. The player on our team playing at the highest level right now, is that a Tubby guy or CJP guy? CJP. Does Tubby have any top 100 recruits signed for next year? no. Does CJP? Yes. We would have a better team w him as the coach, that is just a fact. But why let the facts get in the way of one of your posts? At least you stopped with the Tubby love fest and opened your eyes. You saw a 26 win team and nothing wrong with any of the players we brought it, thats a fact as well (and crazy) . . and you were wrong (not very surprising if you ask me). But hey keep the personal attacks coming bc at least I base what I say off of facts.

It was time for Joshie to go, but we are so much worse off since he left.

It was time for him to move on. That doesn't change that fact that what I said above is true. And you are correct about being worse off.

I didn’t bother reading your whole post. Just a few lines. Laughable. You have countless posts defending josh on this board. You never post factual information about me. That’s why I keep saying you post half trues. You falsely (yet again) proclaim I had some love fest for Tubby. Wrong. What I did do was give him a chance to prove he could get the job done before I criticized him. Maybe you will get it right one day, but I doubt it. Oh, and what in my post is a personal attack towards you? My post says, your boy is struggling and tell me how great he is again. No personal attack at all.

Now go watch josh while you can.

Bet you Josh lasts longer than Tubby does lol. And again everything I said was true. The way people attack CJP is beyond me . . at least when he was here he worked his tail off, had some energy and you can tell when he lost it really bothered him. Wish we could say the same about our current coach. And you haven't personally attacked me, now that is comical . . . moving on.

Everything u said is true...doesn't change the fact that he just isn't that good of a coach and is too much of a control freak and would always lose control of his teams...it's been said that it was pretty bad when he was here on several things.

I’m guessing they didn’t make shots.

Actually they made one too many shots. While leading in last 10 seconds two of their guys went after defensive rebound and accidentally knocked it in their own basket.

But they were bad from the 3 all night.
The tip in was actually play call #35. I saw boy wonder hold the card up just before it happened. The players got it confused with play call #350.

NTR. Anyway, while I'm not a fan of Opie's I refuse to revel in anyone's misfortunes. He's moved on, we should do the same.

I guess that is really funny...Opie.

We see it enough.

I am not bashing those who were ready for a change a few years ago...as I was too. I am commenting on the needless systematic personal assaults on him. Internet bullies, to share in the banality.

And no, on a Friday night I had no idea Ga Tech was even playing. Not obsessed. Some, are.

This may be the first thing you've ever said on here with which I agree. Except for the Opie comment, that's just good clean fun, I agree with everything else.

A perfect example of half trues yet again. My post clearly said, your boy is struggling. Tell us how great josh is again. This after losing to the mighty Grambling. And that statement was in no way a personal attack on you. But here again you are defending Joshie.

Like I said, you post in half trues. You did say something that was accurate. Josh will last longer than Tubby. I see no way Tubby will be here 7 years and don’t want him to be.

Yes I hope you do move on, that we can agree on too. Since you’re moving on...Merry Christmas!

Josh did work his azz off. Absolutely. Couldn't coach a lick and had no idea of how to use talent, make adjustments, etc. As a floor coach he was terrible. Just awful and that's a shame.

Your post is filled with unrealized potential. Much like every CJP team after the first season.

I agree and I could not stand him his last couple of years. And I wondered if it was worse to be able to recruit high level talent and underachieve...or not even be able to recruit to begin with and try to "coach them up" .

I think Tubby has made up my mind for me with his pure laziness. I would rather our coach recruit well and at least give us hope. This clown we have now doesn't even try. At least Josh worked and tried. It's too bad he didn't hire a good bench coach to help him out. SMFH

I would've liked to have seen Opie keep Willis Wilson around for the long haul. Let him do most of the X O coaching. I think it would've ended differently.

Not a Pastner fan in the least, but we could be underdogs tomorrow at home to Mercer. I wish I was kidding.

He helped create the situation we're in now. I no longer expect to see any player stay more than two years after the past decade.

At least one Pastner man-crush still posts here.

There are at least 2 (obvious) in this thread alone. Not bad fishing. Not up to b's level - but not bad.

I feel like Pastner was to insecure for an X O coach. If things turned around and the team started looking coached, they would give the credit to the X and O coach and not to Pastner.

Dude we just had out asses handed to us by UAB. Breaking a 11 game winning streak against them. Time to move on from you obsession with our former coach and worry about our current one.

Please get your so called facts straight .........

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) — Chris Cokley had 18 points and 10 rebounds, and UAB snapped a 16-game losing streak against Memphis with a 71-56 victory on Thursday night.

UAB (5-3) is 5-0 at home, and had its last win against Memphis (3-2) in 2006.

UAB snaps 16-game losing skid against Memphis, wins 71-56
