My goodness, it WAS just incompetence and everybody got to see how incompetent UT was. Now you have serious rifts, a fired AD and a former and former/fired coach at that undercutting the AD.

Well, well, well, looks like ol' Phil is up to his backstabbing ways (ala the Johnny Majors saga) again.

The UT train wreck just keeps getting more interesting/worse every hour.

I saw reference to the Fulmer/Majors backstab on their message board.

What's the story there?

Also, I think he won a game that was kind of important, a long time ago. People seem to remember something about that. I still see license plates commemorating it on ragged out pickups with no tailgate, and mismatched paint on the doors.

Butch Jones obviously had a lot to overcome.

Pat Dye wasn't fired nor was Steve Spurrier. Fulmer was fired, let's not forget that.

Get back to me on an example of a former FIRED coach influencing a coaching search at the same place he was fired from.

Can it get any worse for UT?
