It's always good to have your biggest rival on the schedule. I hope Rice's home games against the Cougars aren't sold to NRG.

Bayou Bucket - future games
I like how we took over a UTSA/UH thread on the C-USA board to talk Bayou Bucket. Then took over a Bayou Bucket Thread here to talk Rice-LSU.

RE: Bayou Bucket - future games
Houston on Thursday announced home-and-home football series with BYU and Boise State.

The BYU series begins Oct. 17, 2020, in Provo, Utah, followed by a Oct. 7, 2023 game at TDECU Stadium.
The two teams last met during the 2013-14 season, with BYU winning both meetings.

UH will open the 2021 season against Boise State on Sept. 4 at TDECU Stadium in the first meeting between the two schools.
The Cougars will play at Boise on Sept. 7, 2024.

In addition, UH finalized its 2018 non-conference schedule with a Sept. 29 home game against Texas Southern.
The game is part of a deal between the two schools to allow UH's men's and women's basketball programs to use
TSU's H&PE Arena this season while Fertitta Center undergoes a $60 million renovation.
