East Carolina is going to hire Joe Dooley, who they fired in 1999. He's had a lot of success since then, but it's definitely the type of hiring you rarely see on the college level.

Jimmy Patsos resigned/was forced to resign today from Siena. He's being investigated for misusing per diem money and for making fun of a team manager with a mental disorder. Patrick Beilein is the favorite to replace him.

Siena reportedly had a very low salary offer, which turned off its top candidates. They have hired Jamion Christian from Mt. St. Mary's as the new head coach.

RE: 2017-18 coaching changes
I just saw this for the first time and don't remember seeing it posted anywhere on the board; it doesn't seem to be in this thread. But Mike Davis left Texas Southern and has taken the men's basketball job at Detroit Mercy.

Sorry if it's been posted and I missed it. The story is from June.

RE: 2017-18 coaching changes
UDM and Chicago State (How are they even still open as a school, much less still a D1 basketball team?) took their sweet time and made some very late hires. With everything going on with the program, I think UDM did a great job getting Davis.
