Seriously though, that's 3 games (Michigan, South Dakota, and S. Alabama) I can count where we let the other team go on these huge runs and Sadler made absolutely no defensive/offensive changes. Apologies for this post being so negative.

ill be positive. at least the team made a run after being down so much at half and didn't give up and quit.

after tonight, I'm gaining steam on turning the corner with Doc.....

it's one thing to start 4-21 from the floor......that's on the players

but not having the capacity to defend the perimeter is outta control......that's ******* corching

especially when your O is designed to run the shot clock to single digits....

was the second half better....yes

the ice got much thinner after tonight.....

he better hope his boys learn how to shoot from the field and the line.....AND restructure his defensive strategy.....

I used to say that Sadler was a great X's and O's coach, but I don't even see that anymore. I was hoping he could have stopped the post-DT bleeding, but we're still hemorrhaging and ABSOLUTELY nothing has changed.

Well, we have a new AD and if I remember correctly his contract was not extended out to the courtesy 4 years.... He's got to start producing soon or he's gone.

Who didn't know the basketball team was going to be horrible?

I think he's jumped the shark. There's just no measurable improvement and it would be best for all parties if he were to walk away, but he has no incentive to do that. The problem is he's due the rest of this year and two more years' salary if he is terminated. That's probably close to a million bucks that we don't have lying around. McGillis allowed his contract to roll over after his first two years, which was arguably fair considering the sanctions. My understanding is that Gilbert did not allow it to roll over after last year, leaving three years on the contract.
