I did not know that he's on the Arizona Cardinals. He saw a little time with I think Jacksonville last year, but I thought he was out of the league.

If I remember correctly he had a huge season before CC got here. It must have been English's last. Then CC sat him a lot. I never understood why.

Just like he does Turner. Head scratcher.

Eagle Tough, Right!? Unbelievable. Although, he does tend to turn the ball over at awful times. Kids got talent though.

For all the head-scratching moves, there are definitely positives. Although, I'll always wanna know what happened with Kilby.

In Turner's case Ericksen and Vann who got better as the year went on are perhaps better backs. We have lots of decent backs hard to get touches for all of them. I like Turner because he hits the hole quicker but nothing will cool a back off like a fumbles in terms of playing time.

My guess is work ethic and overall attitude. Some of English's former players got better under CC, some left and some sat on the bench.

It would be really interesting to hear the work ethic argument being used against Bronson. He was selected to sit on the search committee that worked with the Creighton hire, if I recall. Those aren’t typically opportunities given to people who don’t work hard.

I'm not saying that is the reason, but something happened there, maybe its as simple as CC wanting to develop his own players at that position. Whatever the reason, we'll probably never know. I think a similar thing happened to Sherrill when Genyk got the head coaching job.
