Coach Berry was the speaker. He's actually a good speaker...who'd have thought. Anyway, forget the guys name with USM, but he got up and prior to introducing the coach, took some questions. One of about the bowl. He emphasized it was only his opinion, but he thinks it'll be the Independence Bowl vs Wake Forest, Florida State, or Duke. FWIW

not sure....I questioned his coaching ability during our pathetic regional....thought maybe he talked like he had a chromosome missing. ha ha. But yeah, I like the guy a lot after listening to him, meeting him and talking to him.

during the 'small ball' era, there were many that questioned his ability to coach.....

I've always been in the camp that corching baseball is seriously overrated once they take the field....

have always liked Berry......however, it's a dayum good thingy they changed the bbcor rule......ol' boy was skating on thin ice back then.....and I was one that questioned many a move he was making when we were at the plate.....
