Source: Tennessee is closing in a deal with Purdue coach Jeff Brohm. UT interviewed Chad Morris of SMU last night but apparently UT favors Brohm.

I hate Brohm going to Tennessee. I think he’s that legit and I can’t stand that inbred fanbase getting him. They are as ignorant and stupid as UK fans. Just as arrogant. I hate pulling against Brohm but may be forced to if he is indeed at UT.

Brohm to UT is the #1 topic on local sports talk today in Nashville. I listen to 104.5 The Zone all day at work.

Now hearing that it is not a done deal yet. UT can **** up a wet dream.

I was told by someone that should know that Sanford will get his rollover year. So his contract will be 4 years. Hell think about that for a second and Harper after taking a team to the NCAA tourney back to back years....NEVER got a rollover year. He got a raise but not the basically rubber stamp rollover year.

I was also told Sanford's buyout was 18 months of salary if bought out after his 1st season. Which is not going to happen because he will be given the rollover.

But if Todd grew a pair and admitted in his mind he made a mistake with this hire....

Western might be able to get away with buying Sanford out for $900,000 instead of 1.2mil. Western is only paying Sanford 600k of the 800k he's making. Haven't seen the contract but I do know in past contracts (basketball) the buyout was for what the school was on the hook for.

Sr is making $180,000 while Tony Levine made $50,000 last year

As of right now here is how this is unfolding. Brohm agreed to a deal in principle but he was out recruiting and wanted to go back and tell his team before it was announced. Someone from UT leaked it to the Knoxville News Sentinel. Brohm is apparently furious over that which has now jeopardized the deal. Like I said...

Those fans think UTk is only a step behind Ohio State or Alabama. Hasn't sunk in that they're no. 7 or 8 in the SEC.
