I like what I saw in the final couple minutes on defense. North Florida is missing layups left and right. Downright incompetent near the basketball.

Just keep guarding the perimeter and their offense will stall. They got lucky and got a few offensive boards on ugly misses. Just be smart about not leaving a man open from 3 and we'll be able to come back.

Glad we were able to cut the lead to 7 before half.

As we discussed, we can not let them have the ball at the free throw line and then pass out to an open set shooter.....sad!!

Well Ellison pressured the ball and stole it that led to a 3 pt play. EMU should be playing high pressure man to man against this team and force an up tempo game. But we won't :-)

Agreed with both of you guys. Should've left thompson in longer. He was eating. But we are actually in a good spot, despite trailing. Haven't made one three, which will change. Just stay aggressive.

They are playing some great shooting.

I like Ellison driving to the basketball and dishing to Thompson or Minnie down low. That play was there multiple times, despite us not finish at the rim.

Steve, I disagree....they will win if we give them uncontested three. We are sitting back while they toy with us then they pass to a wide open guy at free throw line who kicks it out to a wide open shooter. Deny each man the ball and contest all shots!

Minnie has been a mess defensively. Not hustling at all. His job to get back to the guy on the baseline when it's on his side, and he's barely moved. Put Groce in.

Coming in to the game, North Florida had the 2nd toughest SOS and 24th best 3 point %.

Shame. We should have won. But we just need to forget this game and prepare for Oakland. We probably won't see a team that shoots the 3 this well again all season.
