This was really, really fast. One day to investigate? No warning? Wonder what he did. Or what Hillary did? While Matt was liberal, he was rational and was willing to ask tough questions of Democrats. He wasn't openly partisan.

One complaint and one day seems a little hurried. Should have placed him on leave and done a real investigation. Unless they have him on video clearly committing rape or something clearly cut and dried and indisputable.

I'm with you on this one. Not defending him an any way, but if a 20-year nationally known employee can be fired nearly immediately for an allegation, we are treading on thin ice. They better have him dead to rights on this or I smell a huge lawsuit.

Or everyone will be accused of sexual harassment sooner or later.

So, all a woman has to do to get a man fired is to gin up some allegations these days. Don't piss a female off in the work place or she'll get you fired for saying she looks pretty.

I, and other reporters , have been aware of several women who have come forward privately in the past few months ...even before Weinstein. They weren’t willing to go public though...they were terrified of Matt.

How soon until radical feminist and Clintonista Katie Couric comes forward and says Lauer was inappropriate with her back in the day?

Was thinking this morning how I am happy that I am married and don't have to worry about being out on the market anymore (been married for 12 years).

One of the trends I have noticed in a lot of these allegations is that a lot of the claims being made are instances involving older men and younger women. I have to think a generational gap in how the sexes communicate and interact is at play here in a lot of these allegations. I am 45 years old. I am almost petrified to even say hello to the younger women at the gym or in the office anymore. What if they take it the wrong way and tell someone that I was coming on to them (despite the fact that I wasn't)?

Matt Lauer could be guilty as hell--- IDK the man. But in my mind, I have to question if the man (and all the others of late) are getting any sort of due process here in the court of common opinion (and in some instances the work place).
