RE: Toledo @ Kansas MBB
It's hard to call for O'Brien's job when WBB went to the NCAA tournament and is off to a great start this year, and football is playing in the conference championship game.
When it comes to TK, he's been OK, but I disagree with Boca's assessment that we're on the right track. I think we're treading water. The gambling stuff and Cross tenure have nothing to do with any games that we lose now. That's completely irrelevant, except I suppose to remind us that things could be worse.

You've got Harris and Fletcher as the only Seniors on the roster. You've got a 3 star forward(Wilie Jackson) that will start playing soon. A good Freshman group and just signed a good size Forward.

Time will tell then. Personally, I'm from Missouri where TK is concerned. Too many years of mediocrity to get my hopes up. Need to see that he can actually coach talent. He botched it up with a great team a few years ago.

There hasn't been a great Rocket Men's BB team for about 37 years. There's been some good ones but always had major deficiencies. I feel that UT is really starting to fill out the roster with some decent talent from the top to bottom of the roster.

It's not the Coaching as much as your players.
I like the Rockets' personnel for the future, but we need to keep moving ahead. For a program that is still coming back from an NCAA/criminal investigation and the Cross debaucle, the Rockets are moving on the right track. Now they need to win the MAC in the next 2 years and start focusing on moving ahead of the Xaviers, Daytons, Butlers, etc.
Sorry Boca, I disagree, not likely to supplant X, UD or Butler in talent. UT would have to get out of the MAC in order to get better talent. The AAC would be a good choice for a conference.

I'd love to get out of the MAC and play in the American Conference.
