Cal Baptist > Cal Bakersfield
It's the next day, the sun is shining and upon reflection I feel fine about Bakersfield leaving. California Baptist slides right into the slot Bakersfield leaves. What do we get with Cal Baptist? Better facilities, better academics and a better TV market. How many times has the WAC been pronounced dead and it's still here? What Bakersfield is doing is smart, especially geographic wise. However, I say don't let the door hit you bro on your way out, a prettier younger girl just walked in and took your place (cue Clarity hissy fit). Seriously, good for Bakersfield. I just wish the WAC could find some western schools with football programs that would move up cause I actually like the WAC. In the meantime we will try to beat up on all our horrendous opponents and unite at least for awhile so the WAC can stay afloat.

Imho, more like NOT as pretty as Betty WAC, but one that lives closer and is a cheaper date.

Yah, I know. I get it and I understand. CSUB really had no choice but to take this. But, not all of us are happy or anxious to leave this conference.

Good post. Another point, CSUB is not leaving until 2020. They will be in the WAC for another three postseason basketball & baseball tournaments.

This 2020 thing is for the birds... It's like getting a divorce, but agreeing to live in the same home for 2 more years... We gonna be shooting insults across the hallway blah blah blah. The only ones getting hurt are the kids (fans) who are now in limbo/confused. Just go... It's a bad deal for Bako and the WAC. Go next year, the WAC will have Cal Baptist. We good, we got this. #WACStrong

Yeah, exactly. We at least need to make them sleep on the couch until it's over.

Agree. Its kind of...weird.
Likely reason is that UCSD diesnt join 'till then. However it does keep the WAC numbers up till that time, as well preserves scheduling format.
