This really lies with the Bearsharks.

As recently as last season, they still looked down their noses at Moo, going so far a short to mock them for being satisfied with Mullen results as opposed to what Thumper had done. The bar being so much higher for the Confederates.

All while under any realistic definition, Mullen had outperformed Thumper. They were simply blinded to that, so enamored with two upsets over Alabama that they lost sight. They really assigned themselves with the Bamas, LSUs, Floridas and the like instead of the Kentuckys and Moos.

They mock an 8-3 to date season by Moo as oh so unsatisfying for their standards, when their standards fall short of that nearly every season.

Its pretty toxic right now. Rumor is that the NCAA is waiting till after the Egg Bowl to release the COI findings. They don't want to add gasoline to the fire. The whole Steve Robertson connection to the NCAA and the Thumper cell phone findings from the Nutt lawsuit discovery has the usual rancor at a new level.

It's coming from both sides my man. Like our country, you got the two extremes and then the rest in the middle are fairly calm.

Honestly, it feels no different than any other year to me on the MSU side.

Now, the OM folks, they have taken it to another level despite us "not being their real rival"

Personally hope ole miss beats the hell out of Miss St.

first, because Miss St doesn't deserve to be ranked ahead of Memphis and this would hopefully drop them down to a rightful spot.
Second, ole miss deserves one last hurrah before their program is absolutely decimated by the NCAA.

I watched the game. I thought Ole Miss behaved very poorly in many aspects. If that was my squad, I would be embarrassed. I think most coaches will clean a lot of that up. You can have fun and play without acting like jack asses, even if you are an outlaw program per the NCAA.

Honestly, I was embarrassed for both squads. I thought both teams showed their rear ends, numerous times.

I agree with most points made in these posts. Because I can be realistic.

Both sides showed their *** which is the point I've been making. Anyone saying it's one-sided is too emotionally involved to be taken seriously.
