But you could also say this years team would most likely be Moore/Crawford/Lawson/Rivers/Lawson. I would expect he would of had someone better than Rivers but thats a top 25 team and maybe a 24-26 win team w our schedule.

Hell, in 2015-16 you could have had:

Pookie
Markel
Woodson
Nick
Iverson
Lawson
Lawson
Burrell
Austin
Shaq

But as you say about the freshmen this year...You should have EXPECTED at least 3 of those to transfer and I only see 4 that transferred under Pastner so he pretty much is par for the course correct.

Just simply noting the abundance of talent that he could have had.

But when someone did it talking about this years freshmen you pointed out 1 in 3 will transfer. Based on you having that knowledge you shouldn't be criticizing Pastner for not having all these guys still here.

Again, just pointing out what could have been there.

Just like thinking about having a Cal team with Perkins, Amare, Juanny, and Quintel.

I'm betting as the season goes on, we'll see a lot more of Rivers and Davenport at the five--or whatever one wants to call the position in which the tallest player on the court guards the opponent's biggest player on defense.

Parks and Azab will only be able to play in games where teams have traditional post players.

I'm betting we see more of Enoh, based upon the 2nd half of the NKU game. He's athletic enough to run and provides the size Tubby likes.

Um, Enoh's 2nd half vs. NKU:

6 minutes, 1 rebound, 1 assist. 0 points. 0 blocks. 0 fouls. 0 turnovers.

In the 1st half (maybe you meant that) 9 minutes, 1 point, 2 rebounds, 1 block.

The kid has a good body but has a long way to go.

The difference is at least he has potential. Parks looks to be 30.

I'd love to be 30 again.

Me to. I’m 30 times 2 lol

Again.

For people who aren't listening. We already have Rivers and Davenport. They all play the same position.

We can't play three undersized athletic 4's at the same time.

Nick King would have been find for us, but he wouldn't fix the main issues with this team.

That's like saying we already have Tony Madlock let's not recruit penny to play because we've got our PG.

King is better than those guys

Nick King was a complete washout at Memphis and was even worse at Alabama.

Why would anyone take a chance on that?

Because they were an irrational facebook warrior with a weird shaped head?

And you would assume that from the 3.3 points per game he averaged at his last stop?

King would easily be the best player on this team.

And Memphis87 . . . he isn't dumb enough to alienate the only one on the staff that can get players (Poppa Lawson). Moore left for Cal when Pastner moved on. And the Lawson enjoyed playing for him as did Crawford who had a soft spot for him bc he didn't give up on hum after his HS injuries. Yes we would of has that roster, yes we would have been better than what we are seeing now. Period.

*Penny was small forward. And we had Elliot Perry as point guard.

Except we didn't because Penny was prop 48 so they never played together. And Penny is a point guard. What position did he play in the nba?

It's not that important about Penny, my point is you don't avoid getting a better player because you have less talented players already at that position

We aren’t talking about the NBA.

We are talking about Memphis State. And Treadwell.

He played small forward. And he was recruited before anyone knew he wouldn’t be eligible. I think his eligibility issues have to do with his senior year at Treadwell. He missed most if not all of his senior year. And he was on the basketball team as a freshman with EP; just ineligible to play.

BTW, I believe they played together at Treadwell so saying they never played together is inaccurate.

Penny might have been listed as a sf in college but he actually was a point foward especially his sophomore year after tony madlock left.
