After a 1-5 start and a mediocre at best career at UTEP he “retired" after losing last night to Lamar. This was his 8th year there with his best record being year 1.

FWIW....UTEP hired a new AD yesterday so it makes you wonder if other factors were involved as well.

it was simply a matter of time one way or the other.....

I honestly don't understand how he lasted as long as he did.....I'd have fired him years ago....

now that the general is no longer around, cue many in the 'burg that will look to Timmy first in line as Doc's replacement....

New AD there has some kind of mess to clean up.

it's no different than me playing baseball/basketball against Ladner growing up.....

when it comes to how that position is filled, I leave personal opinion outside the bldg.....

his blow-up a few years ago when he visited the 'burg was the last straw for me.....that was volcanic....
