It never is. If it was then X wouldn't be losing 10+ games every year.

Florida is the most important OOC game because I think they'll have the best resume at the end of the year. Lose this game and it'll be tough to get a good seed.

I pretty much feel the same way about the Florida game and have since the start of the year. To get a good seed UC has to beat Florida and lesser extent UCLA. Those games move the needle on a national level. Good news today is that Wichita State beat Baylor, if Houston beats Arkansas and SMU takes down USC then today's result against Xavier will most likely get lost in the shuffle as their will be more opportunities to pick good wins.

I figured 2-2 as well with the first 2 being the Ls. We’re never as good or as bad as we think. Winning at Pauley would be Big.

Why? Cause they are down this year?

Cause it’s a big name school, a long way away on their home court.

If you want to check out an upcoming opponent...
Miss State is on tv right now playing UD in Starkville.
State leads UD 43-28 with 15 mins left in he second half.

Howland's 2015 recruiting ckass was ranked 20th nationally and his 2016 recruiting class was ranked 4th nationally.
State may be young but with recruiting classed was ranked that high they have talent.

Anyone who thought MSU was a guaranteed win between games with Florida and UCLA should rethink it. This coaching staff has a monumental challenge to prepare for the next three games after Saturday's debacle.

They blew a 20 point lead to Dayton at home only to win at the end. They have played nobody all season and will be lucky to finish with a winning record in the SEC. Solid game but a UC victory over Miss State will hardly qualify as resume building type win. It won't be easy but games against team with real talent shouldn't be easy anyway. Likely result is a Bearcat win by 10 to 15 points.

If this team is any good, they should still go 3-1 in this stretch. A team with any heart will bounce back and crush their next opponent, then the Bearcats are a better team than either Mississippi State or UCLA.

If they can't win the next three, then Mick hasn't been doing a very good job preparing this team for the season.

Dayton is a bad team this year. A home loss to Miss. St. would be a very bad home loss on your NCAA resume!
