There are very few sunshine pumpers left.

The rest of us have our eyes wide open. Attendance v. GS was absolutely putrid. Even worse than Bustle's last home game.

I sorta knew we were in for a long season when the pregame atmosphere for the first home game had none of the excitement that new seasons bring. It honestly felt like a end of season Bustle era crowd even then.

But our new AD did right with the Softball hires, so I can't wait to see what he does for Football.

Here's a stat for you. Cajuns are 5-6. They are 4-0 when they score first. They are 1-5 when the other teams scores first. Only game that didn't follow the pattern was at Idaho.

Some of us still lurk around, but the continued use of the 3 letter designation we despise has kept a lot of us away for years. Then, we suck as well this year so not many of us are not willing to visit much.

By the way, lots of meetings going on right now. I'd say it's 50/50 Hudspeth gets canned today or tomorrow.

By all means .......fire away.....

Both teams have a lot to play for, senior day for quite a few stars should lend itself to a focus and fired up App team.

Lamb, Nunn, Gossett, Lewis, Fuller, Boggs, Stringer, and Howard (along with Sims who is now out for season) have meant so much to this program. Everyone of them sans Lewis will finish with a minimum of two All-SBC honors.

This is our last recruiting class with some guys brought in under the FCS days, amazing what they accomplished.

I think most of our fans have forgotten this. Cox and Lamb, both record setters, were FCS recruits. It is truly amazing what they have accomplished. It also makes me excited about the potential of the recruits down the road.

I cannot wait for this game, we need to make a statement with our attendance for the bowl reps, however I think we end up in the 24-26,000 realm.
