Taggart now has been the HC for 3 different schools in the last 364 Days according to football scoop. Guess Sugar Daddy Phil wasn’t a Taggart fan or he would have opened his change purse to keep him.

Oregon promoted OC Mario Cristobal (FIU coach a few years back) to interim head coach for their bowl game. Seen a tweet or two surmising that Oregon might want to view the bowl as a trial run for Cristobal as the head guy. Regardless of that, like you mentioned, Oregon seems to be targeting current head coaches in addition to Cristobal, not other schools’ coordinators.

It is reported that Oregon tried to entice Taggart with an offer of $20 million over the next five years to remain at Oregon. Man, if that isn't an open change purse, I would stagger at the thought of Phil Knight really wanting to keep Taggart.
