Hawaii (replacing AAC) - MTSU or Louisiana Tech
One possible out may be A&M firing Sumlin tomorrow and declining a bowl bid, which probably sends Louisiana Tech to the Texas Bowl.
Got a feeling the SEC office might have something to say about that.

They would be 80
Others that could get eligible
Louisiana- Lafayette is at Appalachian State, ULL needs to win to get eligible
South Alabama is at New Mexico State, NMSU needs to win to get eligible.
Figure we end up at 81

NMSU may have the longest bowl drought in all of the FBS.

If NMSU wins and ULL does not that streak is guaranteed to end

I gotta think 6-6 Buffalo and Western Michigan will be left out assuming FSU wins. If NMSU or ULL win then MTSU or WKU will probably stay home. If both ULL and NMSU win then I see NMSU or Ga St missing out as well.

If NMSU wins the last pick of Sun Belt goes to Tucson.
It's 275 miles from Las Cruces to Tucson vs. 1275 miles from Lafayette to Tucson.
Both win out Cajuns best hope may be for the SEC and ACC/Notre Dame to both short the Independence Bowl and play a CUSA team.

Right now conventional wisdom around the Sun Belt is if both win, ULL is out. Cure Bowl was pleasantly surprised by Georgia State's sales in 2015 and they didn't get eligible until the last day of the season. This year they are doing better and were tied for first until today.

Highly doubtful the SEC turns down a bowl. No reason to punish the kids, interim coach will be in place.
