A Blazer first?
A little homework for the Blazer historians. Is this our first season without a losing streak? First in D-1?

RE: A Blazer first?
Would be SUPER easy to figure out with a visit to UABSports.com.

Without looking, I would guess that it happened in 1993, when we went 9-2 (that was I-AA)

RE: A Blazer first?
okay, you got me curious.
it literally took me less than 2 minutes to figure out.

the only other time we've gone an entire season without back to back losses was 1993

Greatness. It's been a long time. And that was a bit before I knew much about UAB.

Hilyer came back and set a few records. The team is better than when they started. Clark isn't satisfied though. Let's see if we can keep this going.

My First year as a Blazer was back when John Whitcomb took the blazers for a dominant season. And Cedric and Ingram and Pat smith, and Wayne White, and Bo and Josh and Walt lead the Team to like 9 and 3. With Coach Hilyer at the Helms and Dieter Brock ran the offense. So Long ago, Know we got Coach Clark and the best season in DI History, Hope He and the new legit players carry the Tradition of those years.

RE: A Blazer first?
Correct. In 1993, the Blazers went 9-2; losing the 1st and 3rd games of the season. Thus, no losing streak.
