RE: Next season
We ‘could’ve’ lost to EMU and Buffalo. And we ‘could’ve’ beaten Akron and CMU.

So 6-6 is an accurate reflection of the season.

Although if we played EMU and Buffalo now, we’d likely lose considering how walking wounded we are.

RE: Next season
I agree that losing @EMU + @Buffalo was certainly a distinct possibility without being on suicide-watch, like losing to Akron & CMU at home In That Way.

However, I will say the @EMU game was a "gift" in our direction, comparable to the Akron & CMU games in the opposite direction. We beat @Buffalo fair & square in a could-go-either-way game.

So really, I'd say 7-5, although 6-6 in how you lay it out -- yeah, that'd be more "fine". Wouldn't have a "what if" in-game thing. More like a "Yep, that's how we were."

But at the end of the day, we LIMPED to get to 6-6 as the season wound down. That's the frustrating part. Not that we truly ARE an 8-4 team. Heck no. But healed for bowl-season in Detroit (if that happened), we would be a Legit 7-5 G5 team.
