Ball was on the left shoulder. That one angle doesn't show that. He might've been an inch or two short.

What a screw job on Tulane. That was clearly a touchdown.

Yeah, but he's not down until his whole body is in the ez. That's garbage.

Watch the very first replay they showed from the better angle.

He switched the ball to his left hand as he was going down and his elbow comes down with it an inch or two short.

The other angle looks like a clear TD but that first angle shows he might've been just short. It was very close.

That was a touchdown. His knee never touched and he was on top of the SMU player. I cannot believe how bad these officials are and what a stupid decision the conference just made.

That was a ridiculous call at the end. I've never blamed one of our losses on refs, but that was 100% clear video evidence of a touchdown.

I have no dog in this fight.

That said, if you guys have DVR rewind it so you can see the very first replay shown which is from a much better angle. His elbow came down an inch or two short of the goalline with the ball in that hand.

The second angle looks like a TD because the knee never went down until he rolled into the endzone. But the very first replay from the other angle shows that his elbow came down with the ball just short of the goalline. It's as close as it gets.

I went back and looked at it, and there's no way you can convince me the ball hadn't broken the plane when his elbow touched. I believe a reverse angle would have resulted in a td, but no such angle was available.

Many posting didn't have a dog in the fight either. From what I saw, Banks was tackled on top of the defender and rolled into the end zone. It was clearly a touchdown but with the officiating in this conference, I'm not surprised they screwed the pooch twice on making the correct call.
