Well, my daughter goes to University of Utah, she is pre-med and in the smart kids dorm (bragging sorry). She and all her medical nerd friends are putting up the main tree, kind of a tradition. She called me and asked if she could take the NIU Christmas ornament we have and quietly hang it on the tree. As any good father would do I said hell yes. NIU is already planting seeds of victory on the U of U campus. It pays to be naughty now and then. Ho Ho Ho, Beat Utah!

I think someone tried to sneak a goat into a past CMU game and got denied entrance.

Bingo. Year in and year out we play our worst against CMU. An annual horror show of turnovers and ineptitude. We knew our offense was not good but where in the heck did the defense go in the second half, every play a jail break.

travel expenses for all sports playing in any west coast/mountain state conference would be prohibitive with a budget already struggling and cut to the bone.
