Driving up from Dayton next Saturday.

Maybe if someone gives me an answer to my question on the alumni assoc thread? Like to know where those $20 tickets wil push me, so I can bring the correct eyeglass prescription, lol. The whole package is fairly priced but higher priced tickets would push the budgeting a bit. Want to see where the $20 ones will put me to determine, get on the bus and eat above my station or slum to get a better seat.

Depending on the walk $10-$40.
No UT shuttle buses for students and fans?

It will definitely be in the lower bowl. Those seats are still pretty good even way up in the last row. seats are fairly close to the field since it is not used for another sport (other than the Sweet 16 and Final 4 - which made the seats in the upper section horrid)

They typically close off the upper section for the MACC and have in the past for the LCB and Motor City Bowl (which a lot of fans on Friday kept saying after the win - "we're going to the Motor City Bowl..."

along the side or in the end zone you think? My GB seats are probably higher than their lower bowl so I'd be fine along the side. End zone I'll see just over half the game with any comprehension, lol. Everything past that can be Manet. Or Monet. Get those mixed up.

Pretty easy to move to other sections. Most of them will have open seats. The MACC game is not that well attended. Not many people go unless their team is in it, and with it being at noon on a Saturday, will lose the attraction to a casual fan that may want to head downtown, watch the game and head to the casinos. I would doubt if there are 25K for the game in stadium that holds what - 60K-70K?

BTW - is the 17,948 in the thread title what the crowd size was? I would have guessed closer to 20k-21K. I could see the tower was packed, and most of the 2nd level on the East Side. Student section was pretty much bare, so I guess that would take away from what I was thinking the attendance would be just by looking at the crowd between the 10's

Yep. That was attendance.

It was actually comparable to most crowds this season minus the student section.

It was good fun getting to be counted in that number once again and partaking in pregame festivities. It had been too long. Unfortunately, I'm out of vacation time and live just a bit outside of the Toledo metro, so you guys hold it down for the MACC. Hopefully we'll see many of you again in September. Go Rockets!
