Great review Aaron. I too watched the game last night, though wouldn't possibly be able to describe with the technicality you do.

From my layman's perspective, I was content with the game/performance for EMU. They played with Indiana for the 2/3 of the game before letting it start slippping away somewhere around the 13 minute mark. (At which point, Thompson seemed to be tired/worried about fouls, Minnie had cooled off offensively, etc) Not ecstatic about it, but this is what you expect from a solid mid-major program against a solid major program on the road. Clearly, EMU was more dominant over Arkansas St and Howard than Indiana was over EMU.

All this bodes well for the MAC season. Let's try to snag one out of the Florida games. Go EMU!!!

I am also going to make the argument that 36 minutes may have been too much to play Thompson in the game. It was very physical down low on both ends of the floor. Thompson was playing great but seemed to get pooped at some point. I think he could have used a extra 5 minute break somewhere along the way.

I agree with your points. It was a 2-point game in the 2nd half so that isn't bad.
