I see you're taking the unfunny exaggerated joke route to my breakdown of your nonsense. Go through my points one by one and read slowly. I believe in you!

You started your breakdown by saying "Colorado State and UNM are not good teams this year". Anything after that is just lost on us Aggie fans. You actually have a wealth of basketball knowledge and bring up many good points. But you lose all credibility in your delivery.

And I don't know why you continually bash the UMKC folks. We have so few people that post here, especially outside of CSUB, GCU and NMSU. I like having as much diversity as possible and don't want to discourage anyone from posting.

Just some observations.

Clarity has potential but his post always show his homerism to CSUB. The spin is always in favor of Bakersfield and back handed jabs at everyone else. It's ok. He just needs to not overreact when he's called out.

RE: Aggies rolling!
Clarity is just critical of NMSU's performance because he feels CSUB is on the cusp of overtaking our Aggies. He is looking for any signs of daylight that will make this happen. I think he fears another WAC school will overtake his Roadrunner such as Utah Valley or UM Kansas City. Therefore his responses are meant to keep them in their place.

RE: Aggies rolling!
If someone attacks my team as trash I'm going to defend them. RoosHouse likes to do that and so does Dancing. Everyone has their amount of bias. Dancing gets very defensive when someone says something a tiny bit critical against NMSU like the bench play is unproven so far. I think that is a fair and unbiased point. I also don't think UNM and Colorado State are good teams, I think that is proven by their Kenpom rankings. UNM lost to Tennessee Tech at home and Colorado State was blown out by a bad Tulane team. I don't think that is a crazy point at all. Simple as that. I am very complimentary of NMSU. I think they will win the WAC this year and Lofton will win POTY. I don't think CSUB will dominate the WAC this year and have never said that. I just get a little annoyed when I offer up a small amount of criticism and is reacted at with nonstop BS. When CSUB is attacked with not criticism but pure vitriol yes I'm going to respond. I hope this helps. I'm just very passionate about CSUB basketball and I am sorry if I have offended you in the past. Let's all move on.

It's sad when Deming High School's basketball gym is 10 times better than Bakersfield basketball gym. SMH!!!!

Certainly don't expect anyone to join me there, though. I'm really impressed by what the rest of the WAC is doing. It's obvious GCU still has a lot to figure out. Good news is we have a lot of time until early March.

Honestly, the fact that Majerle had a freshman starting concerned me. GCU should have enough "good veteran" players such that a player like Blumbergs should be coming off the bench.

Also, in Majerle's five year tenure, he hasn't proven to be a much of a defensive minded coach. His offense looks beautiful when it is clicking (almost NBA like) but his team has never really had lockdown defenders to play the other side of the ball. And, as Cal Bakersfield has already proven, good defense is the great equalizer.

Last night, San Diego proved a good defense can stifle GCU's offense. So,GCU better figure out how to do the same to their opponent's offense. This is where GCU is lacking; starting a still developing freshman big man and a bigger but slower point guard than a year ago.

I'm going to disagree with you that San Diego's defense is what hurt GCU. At the under 12 timeout in the second half, San Diego had 2 of their 7 man rotation with four fouls and 2 guys with three fouls and GCU stopped attacking. It was clear that attacking the rim was working, but they kept reverting back to jacking up 3s even though they weren't going in. You can't let up when you have your opponent on their knees.

Clarity, I just wanted to jump in here and agree with you that you tried. 04-cheers However, I personally do not mind the banter back and forth. It makes for interesting reading and it demonstrates the passion that everyone has for their team. I say keep it up! As for me, I will stay silent until GCU starts improving on the court!!

ThunderDan this is a great point and one that I completely agree with. I sat there the whole last 10 minutes of that game wondering why in the world we were not taking it right down the middle to draw fouls. I actually thought Majerle's placing Shaq Carr in the game alongside Benson was meant to do just that, but it never happened. Very frustrating.

I haven't trashed the runners at all. I just pointed out the idiocrocy of saying UMKC is going d2.
