Seems like the normal negative fans are out of town for thanksgiving - likely an extended trip until our next loss ... too much positive things happening right now to chime in?

Top of the conference looks good. ODU, WKU, La Tech, and MTSU. The bottom is just as bad, but the top is much deeper this year than it has been.

I don't know if you are referring to me or not, but I've been posting positive. I just call it as I see it. I am cautiously optimistic. We are a potential tourney team, just wish we had the luxury of multi bids.

No..just think that most realize the season will come down to the CUSA tournament. Our ability to get to the NCAA's will go through MTSU. Thus far this season we have lost to a decent Temple team, beat 3 mid level teams, and beat 1 poor team. So if you want to call that positive...ok. I hope we can continue to do well in our OOC portion. With our schedule ...We can't afford a loss if we want to have chance at an at large bid.

Obiwan- the secret is to put that person on a Block or whatever they call it. It helps not accidentally having a knee jerk reaction to his constant negativity! Therefore he doesn't react back. It's been a very pleasant life!

And, no, Ever, it's not you!

Just part of the deal, I suppose.

Similarly if our Week 2 RPI was #8

RPI is silly so early in the season

Maybe so, but it is important to get a good start in OOC play. Once January hits, Conference RPI is pretty much set in stone, and there are a half dozen RPI killers in our own conference that we will have to overcome. Now is the time to start building a little RPI capital.

Absolutely with you, my brother!!!

ODU!

My bad and no Ever not you - my point is some fans love to post at any negative direction and post plenty . I don’t post much anymore but unfortunately I do on posts like this which is also useless as it provides no value to the boards either . I for one enjoy college basketball in general and love my Monarchs - look forward to the whole season playing out not trying to be a bracketologist 3 games out . Essentially even dating back to CAA days we only had very few multible bid years - so yeah it’s obvious you have to win the conference tourney 95% of the time. So enjoy the entire season especially the wins (even though some consider just mediocre) . Some should back of the trigger in excitement when we lose so they can spew crap for days that we have already read for years. Happy Holidays to all .
And, no, Ever, it's not you!

RE: RPI Tracker
By the way checking on scores WKU takes 5th at Atlantis knocking off SMU. Meanwhile Purdue spanks number 2 Arizona for 7th place. Looks like WKU is a pretty good team this year.
