I can't read the article without having a subscription - and I sure as hell ain't doing that. Said he expects both Toledo and Ohio State to win in romps....

If that isn't a jinx, I don't know what is. Time to get to work on the anti-jinx

Don’t have an anti-jinx but the Rockets are the anti-Jinks.

Using the word "romps", I would've expected those predicted margins to be greater than 17 and 13 points.

You would think, but remember, "romps" is an anagram for "or pms" so maybe that means something.

well - looks like he had those predictions right. Toledo by 27 and OSU by 11. Ohio takes out Michigan for the weekend, both to get shots at conference championships.

Should have been Rockets by 34, and would not consider an 11 point win a romp...
Michigan would be hard pressed to beat the Rockets this year, with or without healthy quarterbacks ...

Toledo certainly has a better QB than Michigan

Might not be a romp, but he predicted it would be by 13 (his definition of a romp - not mine) So I would say he had predicted the score pretty well - which is what I think I said in the first place.

since Brady and Herbstreit, lol, Heisman regardless. Watched more ball than usual this weekend and didn't see teams executing better than UT on offense and certainly didn't see any better QB-WR corps and maybe one or two RB sets.

We know the difference between "them" and us on offense. It's line depth. Full on healthy it would be line depth and maybe that one olympic level speedster. Defense is where the mid-major is going to struggle. Plenty of "football" players available on that side of the line but those with superior measurables, needed to defend that pass are going to the P5 in depth with a good mid-major like UT getting MAYBE what? A few a year if lucky?
