RE: 11/22 AAC Basketball Games
WSU fans really like Ben Jacobsen, UNI's coach. He's one of the good guys.
WSU fans really dislike Jankovich. KU guy. Scheduled the dregs of D1 ball in OOC at Illinois St to pad his W/L record. Took Nic Moore with him when he changed jobs. Went to work for Larry Brown.
If that was the only consideration, we'd be cheering our nuts off for UNI, but it's not.
Then there's our opinion of the MVC. By comparison, our opinion of the MVC makes our opinion of Jankovick look nearly angelic.
SMU! SMU! SMU! Go Mustangs!

I know WSU don't like either school, but Jank went to KSU

Just give UNI about a 15 point lead with a minute to go. Then you've got them right where you want them.

Ben Jacobson is a far superior coach to Teh Jank. For SMU to win, they will need better athletes who are also very smart about showing their hands and not fouling. I think SMU has the athlete department covered but this is not an easy bet. UNI is notorious for being a giant killer; see: UNI over #1 UNC just a couple years ago. UNI then went on to finish 11-7 in the Valley. Of course I'm pulling for SMU.

UNI sucks and SMU is supposed to be a potential tournament team. If you lose this you’re dead to me like ECU and Tulsa.

SMU will win this. No worries
Without Duff, I'm not sure we are ready for Notre Dame. They looked like a juggernaut against LSU yesterday. A 40 point win. The Shox will have to hit on all cylinders.

I love New Orleans. Tulane is my own personal AAC feel-good story of the year. I hope they keep winning. I'm quite happy about Temple too. They also have a special place in my heart after embarrassing the ChicKUns by dropping a 25-spot on them a few years back. I wish the Owls wouldn't have stormed the court though. Don't show those cowardly cocks even a glimmer of respect.

ND is tough, but LSU looked God awful. I’m pretty sure Rutgers would’ve looked like a competent basketball team if they played them yesterday.
Well... maybe not.

I too will be clutching my Wu Voodoo doll about as tightly as my nards. The sting of defeat at their hand in the 2015 Sweet 16 is still fresh in my mind. They seemingly had unlimited weapons on that night playing like the '92 Dookie Blue Devils. We simply had no answer. If we truly are the #6 team in the nation, we shouldn't be afraid. So far we haven't even played like a top 25 team in Maui. Perhaps the Shox we all know and love will show up tonight (finally) and give them some Play Angry medicine ALONG with the high-powered offense that has gone dormant since leaving the mainland. If our bigs come out of the tunnel draining 3's again, I like our chances. We simply cannot dig ourselves a big hole with these guys.

Remember Shockers, you must leave behind your prior natural instincts to root "Go UNI! Go UNI!" ;-)
Not a problem. I'll happily cheer against the fighting floppers from Cedar Falls.
Do their uni shorts have butt pads?

I'm hoping playing LSU has the same effect on the next game for ND as it did for us last year.

LSU is better than last year. ND hit them in the mouth early and when they couldn't make a dent in the large deficit LSU gave up.

Agreed. Whodafuq's favorite side is squash? Also, when did salad and rolls become Thanksgiving sides? Sad!
