Karen Barefoot sat down with Michael and I for the Women's Hoops Hoopla podcast to preview the 2018 season. Lots of good insight to get you ready here, including a little tidbit about an ACC team possibly coming Trask

I have a question for the next episode. When will it be UNCWs turn again in the Charleston classic? Is their an order of who gets the CAA slot?

Latest Episode of "The Beat and the Beard" UNCW sports podcast
I have another question for the next episode. The “Ends” in Trask on the floor, just behind the basket. WHat the heck is the Athletic Dept doing there? That is a PERFECT spot for rowdy students to help the team. I don’t understand it. I turn on any other basketball game around the country and those spots are full of students, signs, and other student creativity to throw the opponents off their game. Contrast that to Trask Coliseum where it seems our AD is no longer interested in getting Trask back to “the toughest place to play in the CAA” by scattering a few grandmothers around largely empty bleachers right behind the buckets.
Make Trask Great Again.

Another question, how do tournaments like Battle in the Blue Ridge make any money?
They cant be expecting high attendance for a field that doesnt have a D1 win a little over a week before the games

CG I agree with you, but where do you propose we seat the wheelchair bound people? I was appalled that before this year we had no place for them. It's pretty bad that handicapped seating is an afterthought.

When my grandad was in a wheelchair they put him courtside by the boosters across from the team bench. Aside from not having an easily accessible elevator, the department does a FANTASTIC job with handicap and elderly persons
