The big question is whether or not there are 7 bowl games for MAC teams.
Can the power$ that be $elect a 5-7 P5 $chool over a 6-6 MAC team?

No. All 6- 6 teams have to go first. That said, they can start negotiating and trading, etc. with 5 - 7 teams after all 6 - 6 teams are taken care of.

Just a P.S. to the previous post.

MAC had TWO 6 - 6 teams (WMU and UB) and both are sitting home this bowl season.

Nevertheless, 5 MAC teams are going bowling and that seems fair for this conference.

Best bowl game could be Duke vs. NIU at Ford Field.

Wow, what a nosedive by Lester at WMU. Too much talent on that team for what happened.

Had EMU beat WMU then EMU likely would have been the one staying home even tough they would have been bowl eligible.

Yeah, but I can make my case about the importance of a QB.

They lost their graduating senior and then lost their less-than-stellar replacement.

QB play could have been the difference between say 8 - 4 and 6 - 6.

Agree. We now know that a MAC team should be thinking of 7 - 5 to go bowling next year.

Last year was a fluke (I think there were maybe two more bowl games which explains a lot).

EMU also gave the Kentucky game away....blocked punt, fumbled punt return.... besides giving WMU an early Christmas present (looking at Aristilde). Still SMH in disbelief...

I'm glad WMU is sitting at home!!!!
